Adriatic II (1907) was the last and largest of a quartet of highly successful White Star Line ships known as ‘The Big Four’. An intermediate liner designed for comfort rather than speed, ‘Adriatic’ steadfastly plied the North Atlantic for more than a quarter of century from 1907 to 1934.
